Designing a platform to launch Joe Biden’s legacy

Long before he became Vice President, Joe Biden’s life was about public service. In this next phase, the Biden Foundation will continue that legacy.

I designed a custom website on WordPress to empower the Foundation to communicate this exciting initiative and galvanize support among key donors and the public. I first worked with Biden advisors to plan the information architecture and create a visual language for the site. Then I designed the site, managed content and photography approvals, and supported communications designs for social media in the lead up to launch and initial weeks of the Foundation’s operations.

At launch, the information-dense, yet easily navigable website paired photography and inspiring quotes. Subtle parallax and CSS transitions added to the inspiring feel.
